Alistair Hankey

Senior Associate

Alistair specialises in FMA’s work on electrical utilities, working closely with Glen Suarez. He recently led the junior team on a project to establish a utility regulator for a client government, and has completed studies of electricity utility sectors around the world.

Alistair’s background at FMA is in Public Financial Management, where he oversaw the implementation of a digital spend controls and expenditure capture system; and coordinated a budget reform project for a major G20 economy. Alistair is CIMA part qualified and holds the CIMA Business Accounting Certificate.

Before joining the team, Alistair worked at the Department for Education on Skills Strategy and the EU Exit Programme. Alistair graduated from St John’s College, Oxford with a degree in History.
