Francesca Reed

Senior Associate

Fran is a Senior Associate at FMA. She focuses on climate advisory services and project management. At present, she is leading a project with a G20 Government to improve their processes of identification, management and mitigation of the fiscal risks of climate change and decarbonisation. Prior to this, she led on the establishment of a Priority Unit for one of FMA’s major clients in the Middle East and managed the design and launch of a Government’s first SME loan programme in partnership with private banks. In addition to her client work, Fran is FMA’s business development lead in Africa.

Alongside her work at FMA, Fran has undertaken pro bono work as a researcher for the Commission for Smart Government. She has co-authored two published papers exploring how UK Government structures can be made more effective, and how talent and capability in the UK Civil Service can be improved.

Before joining the team, Fran operated in the international humanitarian field, most recently in the Department of International Protection at UNHCR in Geneva. She graduated from Homerton College, Cambridge with a first-class degree in Education, specialising in International Development. She holds the APM Project Management Qualification (SCQF Level 7).
