Martin Richmond

Director

Martin has had a successful 20-year career in the UK public sector. In senior roles at the Cabinet Office, Martin was responsible for implementing the Efficiency and Reform agenda, with specific responsibility for programme and performance, which ultimately saved billions of pounds for the UK taxpayer.

As a senior leader in the Major Projects Authority, Martin was central to the development of the Project Delivery Function. From the early days of developing the concept, through to its refinement into a world-class function, Martin led variously on data analysis, operational support, business planning & development and performance measurement.

Martin brings his experience on project management and delivery to FMA. He has worked closely with a Gulf region client’s Ministry of Finance to implement a fiscal balance programme and spend controls system. These initiatives have delivered several million pounds of savings. Martin also works with another of FMA’s government clients in the Middle East on an extensive programme of major infrastructure projects.
