Government launches review of Cabinet Office

‘Lord Maude is conducting a short review on how to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of government functions and spending’

Lord Maude has been invited in his personal capacity, as a former Minister, to conduct a short pro bono review of cross-cutting government functions, spend controls and progress towards implementing Civil Service reform.

Over the 2010-2015 parliament, the ERG cumulatively generated £52 billion audited savings.
